Fine. Very, very tight bindings....So tight books are harder to open. Old ink former owner's signature to first blanks of both volumes, marbled paper is showing minor some 'cracking' or tearing where the vellum meets the marbled paper to the front of volume 1 and rear cover volume 2 (this could be carefully reglued). Otherwise as new.
